Our Texas
Liberals have learned well how to use Daschle,
Devious, Destructive, Democrat, Divisive, Demagoguery
to stifle Federal and State Government.
I call this the
DDDDDD Syndrome.
Now that our Texas Rabble Rouser Crowd has learned
this Daschle way to shut down government, there is no
end to the damage we can expect from them in the
future.
If we have learned anything from Afghanistan and
Iraq, it is that the ability of Snipers and Gorilla
Warfare Forces to block progress and divide spoils
has prospered.
Accordingly, look out for Political Snipers, Liberal
Bombshell Legislation, and War Lord Counter Attacks
all designed to confiscate and redistribute your
wealth.
This old country boy never trusts those who stab the
system and citizens in the back. If they do it
one time you can be sure there will be a next time.
Those of us who don't turn tail and run when the
going gets tough, need to write down the names of
every one of these deserters.
Then, when the next
election comes around, lets see how many we can send
on a one way ticket back to Ardmore, Oklahoma.
We may have to pay
those Okee's to keep them, but, believe me it would
be well worth it to be rid of them.

SA Police
Union
Takes A Flyer
$26,000
'Extortion' Note Sent
To Your Mail
Box
CA
Stubbs, SAL Commentary
The San Antonio
Police Union recently sent out a political flyer
which, when examined closely between the lines,
amounts more to an extortion letter than to a
political statement.
"Pay us more,
if you want public safety," is the not-so-hidden
message.
And in an even more
brazen tactic, they imply blame for the deaths of
four police officers on OUR refusal to give them more
money.
They have used this
approach before to grab hefty raises, more manpower,
and above all more of our tax
dollars.
Well,
congratulations, Carroll Schubert, Julian Castro, and
Enrique Barrera for saying "hell no."
The
"Cry Babies" in the Police Union should
take a page out of the US Military play book.
You
didn't hear our noble Military men and women
complaining, threatening, and demanding more money
because they might get shot defending the
Country.
You
didn't hear them threatening their leaders or
demanding inflated pay increases. They did the duty
they signed on for, and did it well.
Yet,
this local bunch at the SA Police union spent $26,000
of money they say the don't have enough of, to dirty
up our mail boxes with their usual propaganda trying
to force our leaders at City Hall to bow to their
excessive demands.
It's all in the records for anyone who wants to be
informed. They get paid more than our Military,
for work not nearly as dangerous; and they don't mind
making threats if they don't get their way.
Remember
when their honorable leadership sued taxpayers for
having the nerve to sign a petition designed to hold
them accountable by abolishing collective bargaining?
Their goal seems to be power, not safety. They
show no shame at getting a 79% increase in the Police
General Fund for 1993 through 2003, while we poor
working devils, got only 28% for Cost Of Living
(CPI).
Hang in there Schubert, Castro, and Barrera.
If
citizens could levy a tax on the Police Union over
its many excesses, maybe taxpayers, too, could afford
to send a fancy, expensive flyer.
Then,
maybe the sordid truth would come out.

Mayor Ed Garza: The
Citizens' Enemy
Let The Big Spending Begin At SA
City Hall!
CA
Stubbs, SAL Commentary
Just think!
Ed Garza has two more years to bollix this town up as
bad as, or worse, than did Henry Cisneros.
Garza, as did
Howard Peak, takes the position that the taxpayers
are too stupid to have any control over Politicians,
Developers, Bankers, and Other High Rollers.
So, both quickly
began campaigns to undermine the will of the people
regarding Term Limits.
Now with one of the lowest election turnouts in
history, Ed thinks he has a mandate to restore the
power of the TRIAD: Big Money Interests, Their
Political Lackeys, and The Organized Welfare Crowd.
That being said, I
think his future plans are pretty well defined in the
following Chart.

The budget records of the City Mayors
from 1980 up through 2003 are shocking.
Here
is the record. Look up the Budgets from 1980 to
the present and this is what you will find.
Mayor
% Budget Growth
Cisneros
180%
Cockrell
12%
Wolff
0%
Thornton
16%
Peak
31%
Garza (First 2 Years) 19%
The only way citizens of this City will ever keep
City Hall under control, is to collect petitions and
have a City Charter Amendment to limit All Funds
Budget growth to population and the consumer price
index.
If
that limit had been in effect, the City would not
have overcharged its citizens $7,392,180,000 from
1980 through 2003.
