So said famous San Antonio broadcaster,
international beauty queen and stellar entrepreneur
Jackeline Cacho in an exclusive interview with the
Political Snitch.
She was referring to a persistent -- she
says "false"-- rumor that surfaced in a
Political Snitch column earlier this month.
At one point in the interview she got so
tickled at the idea that she laughed out loud.
She says she can't understand how such a
rumor got started, and is totally mystified by it. At
first, she says, she thought it was all a
"joke."
"I do know Henry and Mary Alice
(his wife) and I am on good terms with both of
them."

The stunning beauty and successful
business woman says she first met Henry when she did
a TV interview with him for Univision SA, where she
enjoys tremendous popularity and high ratings.

"I
think it was about four years ago that we
met," she says. She doesn't remember the
topic of the interview, but she does say it
was after Henry left his job as president of Spanish-language
broadcast giant Univision Communications Inc.
"We have been in
public together at social functions probably
a dozen times...the last one in December at a
beauty contest." She speculates the
rumors may have started with those
appearances. Jackeline is regarded as a
"must have" at all beauty pageants.

She claims to be former Miss Peru
International '94 and is an in-demand, astute advisor
to contestants. She is always on hand at such
affairs. One insider tells the Political Snitch
"it is not a real beauty contest if she's
not there."

Henry is known as a gadfly and publicity
hound, and finds ways to insert himself into many
public and political situations. Convicted of lying
to the FBI about hush-hush money paid to his former
mistress Linda Medlar, his old Buddy Bill Clinton
pardoned him. (Click for

Now both Clinton and Cisneros stump for
John Kerry. Cisneros has not commented to the
Political Snitch on the above mentioned rumor, but is
offered free space in this publication to respond.

Why, you might ask, is the Political
Snitch writing this story? Because it involves Henry
in the first place. Since Henry was pardoned he has
been increasingly involved in more political
activities. He has not exited the politcal
stage...which brings us to the second rumor.

The Snitch has learned that Cisneros was
very active behind the scenes in getting charter
changes on the SA ballot for May. If passed, the
monkeyed-with city charter would make it possible for
Henry to run for mayor, again. The political stake
will be pulled from the vampires heart. (Editor's note:
The charter revision attempt went down in flames in
May of that year.)
Which is ironic, since it was Cisneros
himself, by way of scandal and overspending, who was
the main reason a citizen revolt led by rabble rouser
CA Stubbs imposed the most restrictive term limits in
US history.
Will Henry run again? Hell, maybe that's
only a false rumor too.

But back to Jackeline. She says she has
also heard the rumor that Henry might run, though she
did say she doesn't think that will happen.
As to Henry's over all character, she
allows that "he is an honorable man."
"Despite his conviction and a
previous mistress?" the Snitch asked.
"Well, yes, besides that. People
are entitled to make a mistake," she said.
"Actually that would be two
mistakes, wouldn't it?" the Snitch asked.
"Well, yes. Yes it would be."
