The ex-con, ex-mayor Henry seems to be steadily losing his influence, along with his hair.
Henry busted a move when he picked Choco Meza to run for Bexar Democratic Chair. Choco had worked at Henry's American Sunrise for about $100,000 per year.

There was only one problem.
The grassroots of the party have had enough of the arrogant Choco. They were the ones who turned their back on this gal. They said "enough," and derailed her chariot Ben Hur style.
Listen, any time Henry Cisneros tells Democrats to vote for his right hand aide, you know it is time to reach for your gun.
It was the Henry connection that demolished her. Many D’s in this city don’t trust Henry. She was going to be his power tool.
That is what occurred here. The grassroots went with a leader of the Barrio Boys. Yes, Dan is a little wacky. Yes, he is strange at times, but the voters said we would rather have a goofy Gus than an arrogant, mule like Choco.
It was that simple . The voters also remember her fanatic support of Hillary when it was obvious that Barack was our guy.
What’s next? Expect more arrogance from the losers around Choco. I can hear them already whispering about Dan. “Can you believe his hair? What a horrible beard? Can you believe he said that? He is so ugly.”
It will get Mezzy. Just like Choco likes it. With her nose hairs in the air.
