KTSA BLOODSHED

COWBOY CLEANERS

June 22, 2004

Reid Reker
KTSA radio

Dear Mr. Reker:

I am very upset by the recent changes on KTSA radio. As a long time advertiser, I find it appalling that you and your station could presume to charge me for advertising that I did not consent to. I choose to advertise with Carl Wiglesworth for very specific reasons.

Over twenty years ago, I had three stores. Today, thanks in large part to Carl Wiglesworth I have seven. Carl's listeners are my customers. They know and trust Carl. When Carl says I am the premium drycleaners in San Antonio - they know he means what he says and he truly believes in me and my company.

What Carl does for my company cannot be replaced by a stand-up comedian or some host from another city. My company is local and depends on reputable local advertising. My reputation has been enhanced by Carl Wiglesworth. Ratings are not nearly as important as the integrity of the host and local programming.

I have always tried to run this company with ethics and morals. My father taught me - Shannon and I are not Cowboy Cleaners. Cowboy is the people who work for and dedicate their lives and talent to Cowboy Cleaners. Those employees enhance the reputation of the company and produce the product of which I am so very proud to offer. In return, I owe them respect and thanks for dedicating themselves to my company and myself. KTSA has become a company that lacks ethics and to be associated with a company that has shown little to no regard for its employees is not something I can continue to support.

As your station is currently in violation of our contract I do not expect to charged for any ads run on June 21 ,2004.( please see attached copy of contract) I signed a contract for advertising with Carl during afternoon drive and Jack in the evening. I expect that contract to be honored.

Respectfully,
Vicky Maisel, President Cowboy Cleaners
