Political vandal Leticia Cantu,
Councilman Phil Cortez' main squeezer, is planning to
keep the District 4 seat warm and toasty, as Phil
takes 3 months off to go active duty for the Air
Force Reserve.
Forgotten by most is Leticia's
involvement in a political scandal, when she was
secretly video taped destroying campaign materials
belonging to Nelson Balido, opponent to Castro's
brother Joaquin. (Click for

Joaquin denied that Leticia worked for
his campaign, but on the very same day of the
mischief Castro.greased her psalms with $2,000 worth of
silver.
"The Book Of Vandalicia."
Mayor Julián Castro told The
Express-News Cantu is "a City Hall veteran who
has worked for four council members, and would be
uniquely qualified to fill his position."
Indeed, she has circled City Hall many
times, and has been passed around by SA politicos
more times than a pair of dice in a back alley
crapshoot.
Council will decide if she gets a free
cruise at the helm of District 4 this week. What does
she know, and when will she show it?
Pay close attention to how the members
of the crew vote.
